TIH 2011 Charity Information. please spread the word.
We have a collective group of people coming to This Is Hardcore 2011 that spans across the globe.
Our numbers ignore racial, economic or religious barriers.
I believe our culture is strong as a group and does recognize the good in others and I’d ask that in good faith you’d look at what we’re trying to accomplish for these charities.
Its hard to ask for much but the smallest bit does go further then you could imagine.
There will be people on hand to collect these items and make sure they are going to the people that need them most.
Participation isn’t mandatory but it is something that if you have a few dollars or even pocket change could pick up a few items and will truly make a difference in a complete strangers life.
If nothing else take the time to spread the word on what we’re looking to collect if you’re unable to donate yourself.
BSM’s Personal Care Items
This is a part of BSM’s social service programs that provide some of the basic and essential personal care items to families and individuals in need.
These items include:
Dental care: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and mouthwash
Body care: soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, shaving razors
undergarments: underwear, socks, feminine hygiene products
School Supplies for Eliza Shirley House
Please help our school supplies drive by bringing any of the following new/unopened items
Notebooks (both wired and composition)
Binders and packs of looseleaf paper
Pencils and Pens
Pencil Sharpeners
Erasers
Rulers
Scissors
Markers (crayola packs and sharpies)
Glue Sticks and small bottles of white glue
These school supplies will be delivered to the Eliza Shirley House which is a local shelter that helps families in need, protects women and children from abuse and does so on a very shoestring budget. We had a very successful coloring book drive this winter and I’d like to give the children and their families a little help with a new school year approaching.
