Tickets on Sale May 30th
So at 12pm EST Monday May 30th, we will announce all 4 days, all the bands. We’ll have a comprehensive view of the fest’s added features this year and we’ll have all the tickets up for sale online via ticketfly.com
I suggest you take a look at ticketfly now if you’re unfamiliar.
Don’t email me and ask questions because I don’t buy tickets online so I am of zero use in the help dept.

A brief rundown of the 4 days …
Thursday August 11th
@ the First Unitarian Church

530 doors/6pm start
Friday/Saturday/Sunday August 12-14th
@ Starlight Ballroom

We will be offering 4 day passes, Weekend (3day passes) and Single day passes.
We will also be offering presale parking for the parking lot on 9th street.
Those parking passes will be limited and also available on Ticketfly.
There will be a select amount of tickets available at AKA Music
27 N 2nd St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – (215) 922-3855
12pm Monday May 30th.
If there are any left over tickets NOT sold at AKA on Monday, they will be cancelled and recirculated online. So Monday will be the ONLY day you can get the tickets from AKA.

For those of you who can’t figure out how to stay on top of when tickets go up,
here is a tutorial written by a friend of mine.
here is how you free yourself from the struggle of not having the internet/not monitoring the internet 24/7:
step 1: be ready to go with your credit card on may 30
step 2: like the this is hardcore page on facebook (if you havent already)
step 3: as you are on the this is hardcore page, look on the left hand side of your screen. you will see an option to receive updates as sms. click this. facebook will then send you a text every time there is an update to the this is hardcore page. let me make this clear because last year it turns out i didnt – you can have a shitty phone. its not a link to facebook. its not a notification simply saying “this is hardcore made an update”. you get the actual text of the update as a text message. whatever joe types on the page, you will get those exact words as a text. so if joe types “tickets are up!” you will get a text that says “tickets are up!”.
step 4: remember the TELEPHONE. you can CALL ticketfly and buy tickets over the phone. this is exactly what i did because i dont have the internet at home. old school!
step 5: sit back and try to relax and realize that you can never relax again because you just can not – absolutely not – wait to just fucking get there already lets go lets go lets gooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I’m very happy many people are excited to see what I’ve worked on.
I hope you’ll be still excited once the lineup is out.
TIH 2011 will be a solid top to bottom fest day in and out. If you’re looking for a super reunion fest, you’ll have to go somewhere else.
I’ve worked very hard this year to accomodate the bands that I feel are important today and a few of yesterday’s favorites are back to play and have a good time
I think the lion’s share of TIH work this year went into customer (aka YOU) care.
What I’ve spent time working on and towards will hopefully not only encourage you to continue to support TIH but will help make your 3 or 4 day stay a more pleasant experience then in the past.
