Andrew “Thorp” King came from the Philly area into hardcore and rose from a pit warrior to releasing some great releases at the end of the 90s and some of the greats of the 2000s with his Thorp Records and later Sailor Grave Records.
Through his years of hard work, he has had some incredible ups and downs and would eventually pull his tale and lessons learned into a fantastic book “Failure Rules”.
This is a must listen not only for the fans of his labels etc but also those trotting down the same entrepreneurial roads that he had travelled.
There is alot to be gleaned from the book and his story and our conversation barely broke the surface on all the things the book touches on.
